Established in 1996, EPCOR has a rich history dating back to the formation of the Edmonton Electric Lighting and Power Company in 1891. The company operates in multiple Canadian provinces, including Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, as well as several American states, including Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
As a municipally owned corporation, EPCOR is solely owned by the City of Edmonton, which serves as its shareholder. The company’s services encompass the management of water, wastewater, natural gas, and electricity distribution systems across its operational regions.
